The Nassau County Museum of Art needs your help in continuing
to expand and serve the greater Long Island Community! Our nationally
acclaimed museum has a long and glorious history and is considered
one of the most important cultural institutions in our County
and City. Located on 145 acres of the former Frick Estate in Roslyn
Harbor, our grounds offer one of the largest publicly accessible
sculpture gardens on the East Coast and includes the works of
Lichtenstein, Calder, Botero and Smith.
At present over 3000 Nassau County families are members of our
museum and enjoy the museum's amazing art collections and educational
programs. We are also partnered with such noteworthy charitable
and non-profit institutions as The National Center For Disability
Service, The Girl Scouts of Nassau County, AHRC, The Helen Keller
Services For the Blind, The Institution for the Deaf and many
others. NCMA is accredited by the New York State Board of Regents
as both a museum and an educational facility and we serve more
than 30,000 L.I. School Children and their teachers with our highly
acclaimed exhibitions and art classes.
At present funding for our community programs and exhibits comes
from revenue derived from admissions, memberships, corporate sponsorships,
and special events such as our yearly Museum Ball and Journal.
We can only continue to grow and reach out to more Nassau County
children, adults and families with your help!
Our current fundraising initiative "The Beautification of
Northern Boulevard" gives both corporations and individuals
a unique opportunity to show their pride and support for our community,
our children and our Museum. We are offering both corporate and
individual sponsors the ability to "rent valuable Nassau
County Real Estate on Northern Boulevard" to help promote
the Museum and our Sponsors.
For a period of one year you can sponsor a full color, 2- sided
original artwork Banner measuring 8' high by 3' wide. These
amazing Banners will be prominently displayed in the most upscale
and prestigious locations along one of our most important traffic
venues...Northern Boulevard. Your Banner will display Your Name
and NCMA on a beautiful and original piece of artwork. Look
at the full color fact-sheet to see what your Banner will actually
look like. Your generous donation of a $1,000.00 fee per banner
will " rent you" one banner in a location of your
choice from our list of available communities along Northern
Boulevard. The $1,000.00 per banner includes placement, hardware,
labor and maintenance for a one year period. Each full color
2-SidedBanner is made of weather resistant 13 oz vinyl.
Only 100 banners are available for sale. Reserve now and a member
of Museum staff will contact you to choose the color and location
for your banner.
