- To inspire a lifelong appreciation, love and understanding of the visual arts and culture
- To promote aesthetic growth while providing rich and meaningful educational experiences to all museum visitors

- To empower visitors, through dialogical experiences, to become independent viewers who feel comfortable and experience enjoyment when looking at art and talking about it

Programs
The Education Department at Nassau County Museum of Art
offers a variety of programs that serve different audiences who
might have different interests and needs. Programs have been
